Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps in Peru on Android in Q4 2021

The fourth quarter of 2021 saw diverse trends among the top 5 navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Peru. Below, we break down the performance metrics for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at 16.8K in mid-December. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users increasing from approximately 477K at the beginning of the quarter to over 581K in mid-December.

Google Earth showed a steady weekly download trend with a notable spike to 10.5K in late November. Weekly active users also saw an increase, climbing from around 43.7K at the start of the quarter to a peak of 58.1K in late November.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation saw modest weekly revenue, consistently around $2 to $3. Weekly downloads exhibited an upward trend, reaching about 5.5K in early November. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 9.1K and peaking at 12.9K in early November.

GPS Navigation - Route Planner had a gradual increase in weekly downloads, culminating in 5.1K by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, rising from approximately 3.6K to over 6.6K by the end of the quarter.

GPS Navigation - Route Finder also showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 3.5K in late December. Active users grew from around 7.6K to over 10.5K by the end of the quarter.
